BuildRI is an intelligence platform that specializes in benchmarking and tracking value-creation practices in the private markets. Founded in 2021 by investing and operating experts, BuildRI's ratings are used for investment risk management, benchmarking, and reporting purposes. BuildRI insights make investment portfolios and companies better by transforming the way investors understand, improve, and communicate how they "future proof" portfolios to their boards, employees, and investors.

Task Overview

As a web developer for BuildRI, my primary responsibility was to develop and optimize a comprehensive platform designed to streamline the generation of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) data and reports for asset managers and their portfolio companies. The platform was built using the robust L.A.M.P. (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) stack, complemented by WordPress and other advanced technologies to ensure seamless functionality and user experience.
